N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket: price, days and what it covers

Price

14 days, for one ride from Narita Airport and one ride back to Narita Airport.

Children aged 6 to 11 pay the child price; a child aged 5 or under needs a child ticket only if they take their own seat.

What the pass covers

• The Narita Express and JR East trains in Tokyo and the surrounding area.
• The Tokyo side includes Yokohama and Ofuna.

Not covered

• Green Car seats need the full Green Car fee (limited express reserved seat fee plus Green Car fee).
• It is not an unlimited pass: you can use it only twice.

Where to buy it

• On JR-EAST Train Reservation, or at the JR EAST Travel Service Centers at Narita Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2・3 stations.
• Pick-up is only at Narita Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2・3 stations, at the Travel Service Center, the ticket office or ticket machines with passport readers.
• Show your passport when you pick up the ticket.

Who can buy it

Anyone with a non-Japanese passport, including people living in Japan on a resident visa.

Seats and using the pass

Seats

Reserved seats (not Green Car seats) are free; same-day reservations are also possible at the ticket office and passport-reader ticket machines at Narita Airport.

• Use the outbound ride from Narita Airport first, then the return ride to Narita Airport.
• After the Narita Express you can change to other JR East trains at no extra cost if you do not leave the ticket gates; once you exit, that ride ends.
• The two rides can use different stations in the Tokyo area.

Refunds

Cancellations by 23:50 the day before travel are fully refunded; after pick-up, refunds are only at a station counter with the credit card used.

Good to know

• You cannot buy it for someone else; the user must register and buy it.
• Once the paper ticket is picked up, it cannot be canceled or refunded online.
• The Narita Express has large luggage spaces, free Wi-Fi and power outlets at every seat.
