Konbini Sushi at 7-Eleven Japan Costs 178 to 480 Yen
We counted these numbers ourselves from the three official sushi lists for the Kanto area, the region around Tokyo. Every price here comes from Seven-Eleven Japan’s own product pages. Every calorie and allergen figure comes from the same pages.
Prices change by region. The Seven-Eleven Japan sushi product page says that size, price and release date can differ by area. It also says some stores do not carry every item, and a listed item can end early. The same 3-piece inari pack shows how much this matters: it costs 328 yen in Kanto and 295 yen in Kinki.
Sushi sits next to rice balls on the same chilled shelf. If you want onigiri instead, our guide to 7-Eleven onigiri in Japan covers that shelf item by item. For a full hot meal, our page on konbini meals at 7-Eleven Japan covers bento, rice bowls and noodles.

The figure above sums up the price range in one number: 243 yen is the middle price of the 18 items before tax.
Konbini sushi prices at 7-Eleven
Every price on the official lists appears two ways. The first number is the price before tax. The second adds the reduced 8% consumption tax that applies to food you take away. For example, the Hand-rolled natto roll costs 198 yen before tax and 213.84 yen with 8% tax.
You never pay the decimal. The Seven-Eleven Japan sushi product page explains that the register adds tax to the total of your basket and drops any fraction below 1 yen.
Eating inside the store changes the rate. The Seven-Eleven Japan English FAQ for visitors says a 10% tax rate applies when you buy reduced-tax items and eat them in the eat-in area. Only some stores have an eat-in area.
Each pack has a printed label with the Japanese name, which you can match against the second column of the table below.
The table lists all 18 items from cheapest to most expensive. Items with the same price follow the order of the official lists.

The higher prices belong to the bigger packs. Six items cost more than 300 yen: the 3-piece inari pack, the three 4-piece rolls, the natto roll pair and Sukeroku sushi. Everything else is a single roll, a single piece or a sushi rice ball.
Sukeroku sushi has 412 kcal, and the plum rice ball has 185 kcal.
Hand-rolled sushi, inari and rolls
Seven-Eleven Japan sorts its sushi into three lists for the Kanto area. The hand-rolled sushi (手巻寿司) list has 10 items, the inari sushi (いなり寿司) list has 3, and the other sushi (その他のお寿司) list has 5.

Inari sushi is seasoned rice packed inside pouches of fried tofu skin. At 7-Eleven, two inari items cost 198 yen each, and one comes as a pack of three.
The chart below shows how the 18 items split across the three lists. The hand-rolled list holds more than half of them.

| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Hand-rolled sushi (手巻寿司) | 10 items |
| Inari sushi (いなり寿司) | 3 items |
| Other sushi (その他のお寿司) | 5 items |
Hand-rolled sushi: 10 items
The Seven-Eleven Japan hand-rolled sushi list (Kanto) holds most of the cheap items. The Hand-rolled natto roll costs 198 yen and the Thin roll with chopped natto costs 220 yen. The Hand-rolled spicy cod roe and natto roll costs 228 yen.
Salmon sushi costs 275 yen before tax and 297 yen with tax. The Seven-Eleven Japan salmon sushi page lists it with wheat among the 8 required allergens. The top price on this list is the Hand-rolled fatty salmon roll with salmon roe, at 278 yen.
Two items on this list are sushi rice balls (寿司おむすび). They use sushi rice in a rice-ball shape. One has pickled plum, shiso and takuan at 178 yen, and the other has crab stick and mustard mayo at 198 yen.
Salmon also comes as a plain onigiri. The charcoal-grilled salmon onigiri costs 198 yen before tax and lists none of the 8 required allergens, on the official list checked 17 October 2026. Salmon sushi lists wheat.
Inari sushi: 3 items
The Seven-Eleven Japan inari sushi list (Kanto) has three items. Gomoku inari, a five-ingredient inari, costs 198 yen. Pickled plum and shiso inari also costs 198 yen, and its name says it uses Kishu Nanko plums.
Inari sushi, 3 pieces costs 328 yen before tax and 354.24 yen with tax. This pack also shows the regional price gap. The same pack costs 295 yen in Kinki and in Shimane, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi and Kyushu. A separate Tokai-only 3-piece inari pack costs 340 yen in Gifu, Aichi and Mie.
Other sushi: 5 items
The Seven-Eleven Japan other sushi list (Kanto) holds the bigger packs. Three of them come as 4 pieces. The Fried chicken and mayo roll costs 388 yen. The Fillet cutlet roll with thick sauce and the Salad roll cost 398 yen each.
The Natto roll and Hokkaido horseradish natto roll costs 398 yen and pairs a plain natto roll with a horseradish version. Sukeroku sushi costs 480 yen. The Seven-Eleven Japan Sukeroku sushi page lists it at 412 kcal.
The salad roll also changes by region. Hokkaido stores list a 5-piece salad roll at 518 yen, and Chugoku and Shikoku list a 5-piece version at 528 yen.
What the names mean
Each pack carries a Japanese name, and most of it breaks down into a few words. Learn these and you can read most of the 18 labels on the shelf.
- 納豆 (natto): natto (fermented soybeans). Example: Hand-rolled natto roll (手巻寿司 納豆巻). 4 of the 18 have natto in the name.
- ひきわり納豆: chopped natto. Example: Thin roll with chopped natto (細巻寿司 旨味タレのひきわり納豆巻).
- まぐろ: tuna. Example: Hand-rolled minced tuna roll (手巻寿司まぐろたたき巻).
- 明太: spicy cod roe. Example: Hand-rolled spicy cod roe and natto roll (手巻寿司 明太納豆巻).
- サーモン: salmon. Example: Salmon sushi (サーモンの寿司). いくら on the fatty salmon roll means salmon roe.
- いなり: inari sushi. Example: Inari sushi, 3 pieces (いなり 3個入り).
- 助六: Sukeroku sushi, the mixed box of rolls and inari. Example: 助六寿司.
- 巻: roll. A number before it counts the pieces. Example: Salad roll, 4 pieces (サラダ巻4巻).
- 手巻寿司: hand-rolled sushi. Example: Hand-rolled shrimp mayo roll (手巻寿司 海老マヨネーズ巻).

The lookup card above repeats the four words you will see most often: natto, spicy cod roe, tuna and roll. Natto is the most common filling word on the list.
A few more words show up once or twice. 細巻 means a thin roll, and 個入り means a pack of pieces. かにかま is crab stick, 海老 is shrimp and 鶏唐揚げ is fried chicken. ヒレカツ is a fillet cutlet. The product name does not say which meat, so read the ingredients list before you buy.

Spicy cod roe also fills an onigiri. The spicy cod roe (mentaiko) onigiri costs 198 yen before tax and lists none of the 8 required allergens.
Calories and allergens
Calories run from 159 kcal to 499 kcal per item. The lowest is the Hand-rolled minced tuna roll, and the highest is the Fried chicken and mayo roll, 4 pieces. The median is 194.5 kcal. Each figure is the official value for one item or one pack, as the product page lists it.
The product pages also give full nutrition. Salmon sushi has 196 kcal, 5.9 g of protein, 2.8 g of fat, 37.4 g of carbohydrate and 2.2 g of salt equivalent. Sukeroku sushi has 412 kcal, 11.0 g of protein, 6.3 g of fat and 79.9 g of carbohydrate. The sushi product page adds that nutrition values can differ by item, so check the label on the pack.
Each product page lists allergens under アレルギー物質 (allergens), with a line called 特定原材料8品目, the 8 required allergens. These are the 8 ingredients that Japanese labels must name.
17 of the 18 list wheat. Only one item lists none of the 8: the Sushi rice ball with pickled plum, shiso and takuan. Two list crab: the crab stick rice ball and the Salad roll, 4 pieces. One lists shrimp: the Hand-rolled shrimp mayo roll.
Egg appears on 7 items, including the tuna and cucumber roll, the salad roll and Sukeroku sushi. Milk appears on 3: the shrimp mayo roll, the fried chicken roll and the fillet cutlet roll. The table below gives the allergens and the sales area for every item.

The product pages show only the 8 required allergens. They do not say whether an item contains fish stock, pork or alcohol. An allergen line also cannot confirm that a food is halal or vegan.
To check those things, read 原材料名 (genzairyomei, the ingredients list) on the pack, or ask the staff. Our guide to vegetarian, vegan and halal food in Japan explains how fish stock hides in sauces and how to ask about it.

The checklist above covers the three steps. Remember that the allergen data is the official list as of 20 October 2026, and the label on the pack comes first if they differ.
By comparison, the pickled plum (ume) onigiri costs 182 yen before tax and lists none of the 8 required allergens. Our 7-Eleven Japan food database shows prices and allergens for many more items.
