Mt Fuji Opening Ceremony (Kaizan-sai)富士山開山祭Every year on 1 JulyKitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, Fujiyoshida. Kawaguchiko Herb Festival. Ended as an event after fiscal year 2025. Lavender and other plants can still be seen at Oishi Park and Yagizaki Park, with no set event period. Large buses are asked to drop off and pick up at the Oishi Park temporary car park. The festival used to run in June and July (24 June to 17 July in 2023).
