Not held, or changed

Arakurayama Sengen Park Cherry Blossom Festival. Not held as an event in 2026, because of the effects of overtourism on local residents. Security guards, traffic control, temporary parking and temporary toilets continued during the bloom: the reinforced period was 1 to 17 April 2026, with traffic restrictions until 19 April. The first car park next to the park was closed and visitors were asked to come by public transport (Shimo-Yoshida Station is about 10 minutes on foot). The observation deck used timed entry, with waits of 1 to 3 hours expected.

Kawaguchiko Herb Festival. Ended as an event after fiscal year 2025. Lavender and other plants can still be seen at Oishi Park and Yagizaki Park, with no set event period. Large buses are asked to drop off and pick up at the Oishi Park temporary car park. The festival used to run in June and July (24 June to 17 July in 2023).
