One of Osaka's three great summer festivals. The temple's hidden main image, Aizen Myoo, is shown in a special opening on all three days. On the first day a Hoekago (palanquin) parade runs from Tennoji to the temple, and priests of Shitenno-ji hold a Nagoshi-no-harae purification service.
