Tokyo Disneyland Christmas 2026: Nov 11-Dec 25, From ¥9,900
Disney Christmas is the official name of the event. It covers both parks for the same 45 days, so either park gives you Christmas decorations, music and shows.
Each ticket is for one park on one day. The official ticket FAQ says no regular ticket covers both parks in one day, so a two-park Christmas trip needs two separate tickets.

The photo shows the World Bazaar tree from a past year. For 2026, Tokyo Disney Resort says a large, dazzling tree will light up World Bazaar again, with new entrance decorations themed to the parade.
Disney Christmas 2026 dates and what starts when
The dates are fixed. The Tokyo Disney Resort official website events list shows Disney Christmas from November 11 through December 25, 2026. Disney Halloween ends on October 31, and Lazos de la Familia at Tokyo DisneySea ends on November 2.
Some Christmas extras start before the event. Christmas menus go on sale from November 1, 2026, and Christmas merchandise from November 10, the day before the parade begins.

The illustration puts these dates on one card. Two Tokyo Disneyland attractions also change for the holidays, and both run past Christmas Day.
- Country Bear Theater: the “Jingle Bell Jamboree” version plays from November 1, 2026 to January 16, 2027.
- Haunted Mansion: “Holiday Nightmare”, based on Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, runs from September 15, 2026 to January 7, 2027.
Both periods come from the Tokyo Disney Resort Tokyo Disneyland attractions list. Haunted Mansion then closes for a while, from January 8 to February 4, 2027.
December 31 needs its own plan. The Tokyo Disney Resort Tokyo Disneyland park operation calendar says no “New Year’s Eve” program will run at either park on December 31, 2026. For what else changes over the year-end break, see our New Year 2026–27 holiday guide.
November has two public holidays inside the season window: Culture Day on Tuesday 3 November and Labor Thanksgiving Day on Monday 23 November. Our November public holidays page has both dates with their weekdays.

Tokyo Disneyland Christmas parade, fireworks and tree
The daytime parade is Toys Wondrous Christmas!, new for 2026. Toys from Santa Claus’ factory join Mickey Mouse and his friends along the Parade Route. It lasts about 45 minutes and runs once a day.
The Tokyo Disney Resort Tokyo Disneyland parades and shows page marks the parade as Disney Premier Access available. Open the Tokyo Disney Resort App on the day to see whether Premier Access is still on sale.
After dark, Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights runs in a special version made only for the Christmas period, from November 11 through December 25. The night parade also lasts about 45 minutes.

The photo shows the Dreamlights floats lit up on the parade route in an earlier year. During Disney Christmas you see the same night parade in its Christmas-only version.
Starbright Christmas is the fireworks show. It covers the whole park, lasts about 5 minutes and plays once a day to Christmas music. The official page warns that wind can cancel it, so keep a backup plan for the end of the night.
Show times for the next month go online around the 8th of the month before. December times should appear around November 8. On the day itself, the app shows each schedule after the park opens.
The tree stands in World Bazaar, the first area you walk through after the gates. At the entrance, decorations inspired by Toys Wondrous Christmas! appear for the first time this year.
Indoor shows keep running through the season. The D-Groovationz4 Live: Happy! Funky! Groovy! Tour, a new stage show in Tomorrowland, started on September 30, 2026. It lasts about 25 minutes, and you need an Entry Request in the app to see it.

Tokyo DisneySea Christmas and the 25th anniversary
Tokyo DisneySea Christmas centers on the water. In Disney Christmas Greeting, Mickey Mouse, Duffy and other Disney friends ride a decorated barge on Mediterranean Harbor with Santa Claus. Each show lasts about 15 minutes, and there are 2 a day.
The same Starbright Christmas fireworks also play at Tokyo DisneySea, about 5 minutes once a day. This year’s tree is a Jubilee Blue Christmas tree, with blue ornaments and the 25th anniversary logo.
Christmas overlaps with Tokyo DisneySea 25th “Sparkling Jubilee”, which runs from April 15, 2026 through March 31, 2027. A December visit gets both the Christmas program and these anniversary shows.
- Sparkling Jubilee Celebration: a harbor show on Mediterranean Harbor, about 15 minutes, 1–3 times a day.
- Sparkling Jubilee Night: an image projection on the walls of Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, about 5 minutes.
- Dance the Globe!: a stage show at Waterfront Park in American Waterfront, about 25 minutes, 2–4 times a day.
- Jubilee Blue Memories: an installation on the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Buy a special bottle at the Rimembranze shop to go inside.
Believe! Sea of Dreams, the nighttime harbor show, stays on the schedule at about 30 minutes. With the greeting, the anniversary show and the night show all on the same harbor, pick your viewing spot early.
Anniversary merchandise comes out in waves. The “Imagining the Magic” line has releases on October 15 and December 3, 2026, and January 12, 2027. Duffy merchandise by Steiff goes on sale on November 2, and Swarovski crystal items on November 25.
Those product pages are in Japanese only. Duffy and Friends items are sold only at Tokyo DisneySea, so shop there if a Christmas Duffy is on your list.
The table lists the timed shows from both parks’ Christmas and anniversary programs, with the length and runs per day for each.
| Show | Park | Length | Times a day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toys Wondrous Christmas! | Tokyo Disneyland | About 45 minutes | 1 |
| Starbright Christmas | Both parks | About 5 minutes | 1 |
| Disney Christmas Greeting | Tokyo DisneySea | About 15 minutes | 2 |
| Sparkling Jubilee Celebration | Tokyo DisneySea | About 15 minutes | 1–3 |
| Dance the Globe! | Tokyo DisneySea | About 25 minutes | 2–4 |
Our Tokyo DisneySea guide covers the eight themed ports and their rides if this is your first visit.
This year’s tree at Tokyo DisneySea is the blue Jubilee version with the anniversary logo. The photo below shows Mediterranean Harbor at night, where the Christmas greeting and the anniversary harbor show both run.

Christmas ticket prices: what we found on every date
We counted every price on sale. On 8 October 2026, we read all 61 dates on the Tokyo Disney Resort official park tickets page. They ran from 9 October to 8 December 2026. We checked both parks, every ticket type and every age group.
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea had the same price on every date. An adult 1-Day Passport cost ¥9,900 to ¥12,400, and four price levels appeared: ¥9,900, ¥10,900, ¥11,900 and ¥12,400.
The cheapest dates were 2 to 6 November 2026, at ¥9,900. That run includes the Culture Day holiday on 3 November. The top price of ¥12,400 fell on 14, 21, 22 and 28 November and on 5 December.
By month, November averaged ¥11,000 across 30 dates. The December dates on sale averaged ¥11,212. Later December dates already show on the official calendar at ¥10,900 to ¥12,400.
Saturdays cost the most. The chart shows the average adult 1-Day price for each day of the week.

| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Monday | 10,789 yen |
| Tuesday | 10,789 yen |
| Wednesday | 10,775 yen |
| Thursday | 10,775 yen |
| Friday | 10,789 yen |
| Saturday | 12,178 yen |
| Sunday | 11,789 yen |
Saturdays averaged ¥12,178 and Sundays ¥11,789. Monday to Friday stayed between ¥10,775 and ¥10,789, and weekday public holidays averaged ¥10,567. If your dates are flexible, a weekday is the cheaper choice on average.
Evening tickets cut the price further. The After 3 Passport works from 3:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. The After 5 Passport works from 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, holidays excluded.

The illustration uses a ¥10,900 day, the most common level, which covered 41 of the 61 dates. On that day an adult pays ¥8,700 for After 3 or ¥6,600 for After 5.
One price level sets every ticket for the day. Find the adult 1-Day price for your date first, then read across the table for junior, child and After 3 prices.
| Adult 1-Day | Junior 1-Day | Child 1-Day | After 3 adult |
|---|---|---|---|
| ¥9,900 | ¥8,200 | ¥5,600 | ¥7,900 |
| ¥10,900 | ¥9,000 | ¥5,600 | ¥8,700 |
| ¥11,900 | ¥9,800 | ¥5,900 | ¥9,500 |
| ¥12,400 | ¥10,200 | ¥5,900 | ¥9,900 |
After 5 adult tickets were ¥6,000 on ¥9,900 days and ¥6,600 on ¥10,900 days. Juniors are ages 12 to 17 and children 4 to 11. Children 3 and under enter free.
On Japanese pages the After 3 ticket appears as アフター3パスポート(休日限定) (afutā surī pasupōto, kyūjitsu gentei), meaning “After 3 Passport, holidays only”. The Japanese rule counts Saturdays as holidays too.
Tickets go on sale every day at 2:00 p.m. Japan time for the same date two months later. For Christmas Day, that means 2:00 p.m. on October 25. The Tokyo Disney Resort how to purchase park tickets online page names two places to buy: the official website and the Tokyo Disney Resort App. Ticket booths are closed.
You need a MyDisney Account, and you can pay by credit card, PayPay or Alipay. One purchase holds up to 10 tickets. No regular ticket was sold out on any date when we checked on 8 October.
Two dates close early: Tokyo DisneySea on 27 November and Tokyo Disneyland on 4 December, both 9:00 to 18:30. Most dates run 9:00 to 21:00. Every price we found is in our Tokyo Disneyland ticket prices by date.

What is closed in November and December
Check the closure list before you pick a date. The official temporary closure list showed these dates when we checked on 8 October 2026. Tokyo Disney Resort adds that closure periods can change.
At Tokyo DisneySea, three closures end during the Christmas season.
- Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull: closed from 18 August 2025 to 29 November 2026.
- Tower of Terror: closed from 28 September to 5 November 2026.
- DisneySea Transit Steamer Line (Mediterranean Harbor): closed from 4 August to 30 November 2026.
Both rides still appear on the Tokyo Disney Resort Tokyo DisneySea attractions list, so that list alone does not show the closure. Liberty Landing Diner, a Tokyo DisneySea restaurant, closes from 26 December 2026 to 30 June 2027.

The checklist covers the four closures most likely to change a November plan. If one of them is a must for you, pick a date after its closure ends.
At Tokyo Disneyland, The Diamond Variety Muster dinner show is closed from 1 April to 20 November 2026. It still sits on the show list. Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall has been closed since 1 October 2026 with no end date. Swiss Family Treehouse is also closed with no end date.
Two shorter closures finish before the season starts. Dumbo The Flying Elephant is listed as closed until 22 October, and The Enchanted Tiki Room until 23 October.
At Tokyo DisneySea, Mermaid Lagoon Theater has been closed since 1 July 2020. The full Tokyo Disneyland ride list is in our Tokyo Disneyland attractions guide.

Tokyo Disney in 2027: Space Mountain Earthrise and more
The official website says Tomorrowland will change its central area gradually from spring 2027. The plan adds two new attractions, plus new shops and restaurants.
Space Mountain Earthrise is an all-new indoor roller coaster with new architecture and a newly developed ride system. In a first for Tokyo Disney Resort roller coasters, each vehicle will have an onboard audio system.
Earthrise means the Earth rising beyond the Moon, and the name is unique to Japan among Space Mountain attractions worldwide. The official page gives the opening as 2027, with no season. Space Mountain is not on the current list of 37 Tokyo Disneyland attractions.

The photo shows the white dome of the Space Mountain building in Tomorrowland. Space Mountain Earthrise comes with brand new architecture.
The other new places in Tomorrowland open in two steps.
- Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue (spring 2027): an indoor, interactive game attraction inspired by Wreck-It Ralph.
- Pixel Prism and Popping Station (spring 2027): a shop next to Sugar Rush and a popcorn stand facing Tomorrowland Plaza.
- Tomorrowland Plaza and Element Express (2027): a new central plaza and a restaurant for snacks and drinks.
Early 2027 brings low prices and long closures together. January 2027 adult 1-Day prices already show on the official calendar at ¥8,900 to ¥11,900, with the lowest on 6, 7 and 8 January.
The same weeks start several closures.
- Peter Pan’s Flight: 6 January to 2 February 2027.
- Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions: 6 January to 30 March 2027.
- Splash Mountain: 7 January to 4 February 2027.
- Haunted Mansion: 8 January to 4 February 2027.
- Journey to the Center of the Earth (Tokyo DisneySea): 8 January to 8 March 2027.
The 25th anniversary at Tokyo DisneySea, including Dance the Globe!, runs until 31 March 2027. A January trip still catches the anniversary, but not Christmas.

Getting there and planning your Christmas trip
From Haneda Airport, the Airport Limousine bus reaches Tokyo Disney Resort in 40 minutes for 1,300 yen. It stops at both parks and the resort hotels, and the last one leaves at 18:50.
The train costs 880 yen and takes 59 minutes, with two changes to reach Maihama Station. Stops and times are on our Haneda Airport to Tokyo Disney Resort page.

The Cabinet Office publishes Japan’s official holiday list. The screenshot is its national holidays page, in Japanese, with the 2026 and 2027 dates.

The Cabinet Office Japan national holidays list shows 文化の日 (Culture Day) on 3 November. 勤労感謝の日 (Labor Thanksgiving Day) falls on 23 November. Our Japan public holidays 2026 calendar has every date with its weekday.
For weather and events outside the parks, see Tokyo in November and Tokyo in December. Christmas Day is a normal working day in Japan, and our Christmas in Japan 2026 guide covers markets and lights in the city.
Leave the costume at home. The official FAQ asks guests aged 12 and over not to wear costumes, and allows them only on set days of Disney Halloween.
You can leave and come back on the same day. Tell a cast member when you exit, and keep a valid ticket to get back in.

What people in Japan say about Christmas at the parks
In October 2026 we ran an online survey of people living in Japan who have been to Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. 123 people answered; after removing answers that clearly contradicted themselves, 100 remained. The numbers below are shares of those respondents, not of all visitors. See the full survey results and how we asked.
Asked the best time of year to go, 15.0% (15 of 100) chose November to December. But 52.0% (52 of 100) would avoid the Christmas season if they wanted smaller crowds, and 54.0% (54 of 100) would avoid the New Year holidays.
At Tokyo Disneyland, 26.3% (26 of 99) of visitors had seen a Halloween or Christmas season parade.
“Disney Gift of Christmas, held at Christmas in past years. Characters celebrating Christmas were projected onto Cinderella Castle with sound, light and fireworks. That show made that year’s Christmas for me.”
