Children from age 6 to under 12 (in principle, elementary school pupils) pay the child price.

What the pass covers

  • All Nagoya city buses and all subway lines.
  • Also valid on the City Center Loop Bus (C-758) and the Nagoya Sightseeing Route Bus.

Not covered

  • Not valid on Meitetsu buses.
  • Not valid on Meitetsu trains, the Aonami Line or other companies' lines; on through trains onto Meitetsu, pay the Meitetsu fare separately.
  • Not valid on the elevated section of the Yutorito Line (Ozone to Obata Ryokuchi).

Where to buy it

  • Tickets bought at a ticket machine or on a city bus are valid only on the day of purchase; to use one on another day, buy it at a station ticket window, stationmaster's office, city bus office or Transportation Bureau Service Center.
  • Cash is the general rule; the Transportation Bureau Service Centers also take credit cards, e-money and code payments.
  • Also sold at some hotels and at the Oasis 21 i-Center and Kanayama Tourist Information Center.

Seats and using the pass

  • On buses, show the ticket to the driver; do not put a paper ticket bought at a machine into the fare box card slot.

Refunds

Paper tickets bought at a machine or on a bus can be refunded only on the day of purchase, if unused.

Good to know

  • The Weekend Eco Ticket can be used only on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and the 8th of each month.
  • Show a one-day ticket that is in use at partner shops and sights for discounts.
  • A bus-only one-day ticket and a subway-only 24-hour ticket are also sold.
