What the pass covers

  • Non-reserved seats on JR conventional trains on the Tokaido Line (Atami–Toyohashi), Gotemba Line (Numazu–Matsuda) and Minobu Line (Fuji–Shimobe-onsen).
  • Izuhakone Railway between Mishima and Shuzenji.
  • Fujikyuko buses from Gotemba Station to Kawaguchiko Station, Gotemba Premium Outlets and GrinPa, and from Shin-Fuji Station to Mt. Fuji Station.
  • Tokai Bus, Izuhakone Bus, Shizutetsu Bus and Entetsu Bus on the listed routes, such as Shimizu Ekimae to the Miho Marine Science Museum and Hamamatsu Station to Kanzanji Onsen.
  • The Suruga Bay Ferry between Shimizu Port and Toi Port, and the Mt. Fuji Shimizu Port Cruise.

Not covered

  • The Tokaido Shinkansen and sleeper trains; riding them costs extra.
  • You cannot get on or off the Shimizu Port Cruise at Miho.
  • Sights and facilities off the lines on the map may cost extra.

Where to buy it

  • Online on JR-WEST ONLINE TRAIN RESERVATION, up to one month before travel.
  • From a travel agent outside Japan as an exchange order (MCO); exchange it in Japan within 3 months of issue.
  • At designated station ticket offices in Japan; bring your passport.
Who can buy it
Only for foreign travelers with a passport issued outside Japan and a Temporary Visitor stamp or seal from immigration.

Good to know

  • Besides bad-weather stops, the Suruga Bay Ferry stops once a year for docking and inspection.
  • Pick up an online booking at a station with your passport, the credit card used and the reservation number.
  • Only the person it is issued to can use the pass.
  • Lost or stolen passes are not reissued.
