Hilton Tokyo Bay and Hotels Near Tokyo Disneyland, Compared
The same set-up applies at all six Official Hotels. So the choice between Hilton Tokyo Bay, Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel and Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama comes down to the hotel itself. The resort sorts its other partner hotels into tiers, and each tier gets a different ride to the parks. Below, the tiers are compared in the resort’s own words, followed by airports, tickets and the perks that stay with the Disney hotels.

Hotels near Tokyo Disneyland: the 3 official tiers
The Tokyo Disney Resort Other Hotels page lists 19 affiliated hotels in three groups. The resort groups them by the benefits their guests receive. Pick the tier first, then the hotel.
- Official Hotels: six hotels located within Tokyo Disney Resort, Hilton Tokyo Bay among them.
- Partner Hotels: four hotels in the nearby Shin-Urayasu area.
- Good Neighbor Hotels: hotels in four areas of Tokyo and Chiba, namely Shinjuku, Koto/Sumida, Daiba/Ariake and Chiba/Makuhari.
The six Disney hotels, such as Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, form a separate group on the resort’s site. They are the yardstick most people use, so the table below adds them as a fourth row.
| Hotel type | Where | Shuttle to the parks | Baggage and tickets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official Hotels (6) | Inside Tokyo Disney Resort | Free Disney Resort Cruiser to Bayside Station | Bags from the Welcome Center; tickets at the hotel if you ask ahead |
| Partner Hotels (4) | Shin-Urayasu | Free direct bus, about 15 min, no reservation | Bags from Bon Voyage, 800 yen per item; tickets with a package plan |
| Good Neighbor Hotels (9) | Shinjuku, Koto/Sumida, Daiba/Ariake, Chiba/Makuhari | Free direct bus, seat reservation required | Tickets with a package plan |
| Disney hotels (6) | Inside Tokyo Disney Resort | No Maihama shuttle; free buses at Ambassador and Celebration | Tickets at the hotel even when sold out; Happy Entry |
The biggest practical difference is the ride to the gate. Official Hotel guests ride a free shuttle to a monorail station and pay for the monorail. Partner Hotel guests ride a free bus straight to the park bus terminals in about 15 minutes, with no reservation. Good Neighbor Hotel guests also get a free bus, but they must reserve a seat.

The chart above matches each hotel type to its ride. The last row is a Disney hotel for comparison. Disney Ambassador Hotel runs a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel also runs a free bus, about 20 minutes to each park.

| Hotels | Getting to the parks | At the hotel | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official Hotels | Six hotels inside Tokyo Disney Resort: Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama, MAIHAMA VIEW HOTEL, Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay, Hilton Tokyo Bay, Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort | Free Disney Resort Cruiser bus to Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line | Park tickets for your stay if you contact the hotel in advance, even when they are unavailable on the official website. Bags can be sent ahead to the hotel from the Hotel Service Counter at the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center, next to JR Maihama Station |
| Partner Hotels | Four hotels in the nearby Shin-Urayasu area: Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay, Mitsui Garden Hotel Prana Tokyo Bay, Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay, Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay | Free direct shuttle bus to the bus terminals of both parks, about 15 min. No reservation needed | Park tickets with a package plan that includes a park ticket or the right to buy one. Bags delivered to the hotel from Bon Voyage, in front of JR Maihama Station: ¥800 per item, until 3 p.m. |
| Good Neighbor Hotels | Nine hotels in four areas of Tokyo and Chiba: Shinjuku, Koto/Sumida, Daiba/Ariake and Chiba/Makuhari | Free direct shuttle bus to the bus terminals of both parks. Seats must be reserved in advance | Park tickets with a package plan that includes a park ticket or the right to buy one |
Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay, Grand Nikko and the 6 Official Hotels
The six Official Hotels all stand inside Tokyo Disney Resort. The official list names them in this order:
- Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama
- MAIHAMA VIEW HOTEL
- Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay
- Hilton Tokyo Bay
- Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel
- Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort
Each one runs a shuttle bus to a Disney Resort Line station. The resort calls this bus the Disney Resort Cruiser, and it is free for hotel guests. It runs between the hotels and Bayside Station. Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, in the photo below, uses the same cruiser as Hilton Tokyo Bay.

The Tokyo Disney Resort Disney Resort Line page names Bayside Station as the closest station to the Official Hotels. It is also the stop for Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel and Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel. The box below sums up the station’s fares and hours.
| Place | Disney Resort Line Bayside Station |
|---|---|
| Price | Single ticket: adults 300 yen, ages 11 and under 150 yen. Day Passes from 700 yen (children 350 yen) |
| Hours | Trains 6:03 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; the loop of four stations takes about 13 minutes |
| Access | Free Disney Resort Cruiser from the six Official Hotels; Resort Gateway Station is by JR Maihama Station |
| Official site | Tokyo Disney Resort Disney Resort Line page |
The Disney Resort Line is a monorail that circles the resort. It loops its four stations in about 13 minutes. Resort Gateway Station sits by JR Maihama Station. Tokyo Disneyland Station is in front of the Tokyo Disneyland Main Entrance. Tokyo DisneySea Station is in front of the Tokyo DisneySea Main Entrance. Trains run from 6:03 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., and the first and last trains leave from Resort Gateway Station.
A single ticket costs 300 yen for adults aged 12 and over and 150 yen for children aged 11 and under. It covers up to one full loop and is valid on the day you buy it. Up to two children under 6 ride free with each paying adult, and infants under 1 ride free.
Staying several nights? Day Passes give unlimited rides for a set number of days. A 1-Day Pass costs 700 yen for adults, and a 4-Day Pass costs 1,500 yen. The bar chart puts the adult prices side by side.

| Item | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Single Ticket | 300 yen | Children 150 yen |
| 1-Day Pass | 700 yen | Children 350 yen |
| 2-Day Pass | 900 yen | Children 450 yen |
| 3-Day Pass | 1200 yen | Children 600 yen |
| 4-Day Pass | 1500 yen | Children 750 yen |
Do the sum before you buy. If you only ride from Bayside Station to a park and back, two single tickets cost 600 yen. That is less than the 700 yen 1-Day Pass. The pass starts to pay off on the third ride of the day, for example a trip back to the hotel at lunch.
You do not need paper tickets at all. The line accepts 10 IC cards, including Suica, PASMO, ICOCA and SUGOCA. If you already carry a Suica card, tap it at the gate. Ticket machines in each station sell tickets and Day Passes, and the ticket center at Resort Gateway Station takes credit cards. No Disney hotel includes a free Resort Line pass either.

Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay and the Shin-Urayasu Partner Hotels
The four Partner Hotels stand in Shin-Urayasu, an area near the resort. The official list names them as:
- Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay
- Mitsui Garden Hotel Prana Tokyo Bay
- Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay
- Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay

The photo shows the platform at Shin-Urayasu Station on the JR Keiyo Line, the stop for these four hotels. Each hotel runs a free direct shuttle bus to the bus terminals of both parks. The ride takes about 15 minutes, and you do not need a reservation. At Tokyo Disneyland the bus uses the East or West Bus Terminal. At Tokyo DisneySea it uses the North or South Bus Terminal.
Partner Hotels have one perk the Official Hotels lack: a bag service from inside the resort. At Bon Voyage you can send bags to your Partner Hotel for 800 yen per item. The counter takes bags from the time Bon Voyage opens until 3 p.m. That frees your hands for the last hours in the park.
Park tickets work through your booking. Partner and Good Neighbor Hotel guests can buy tickets at the hotel, even on dates that are gone online. This applies only with a package plan that includes a Park ticket or the right to buy one. With a room-only booking, buy your tickets online. Our guide to Tokyo Disneyland ticket prices by date explains how.
The Partner bus also saves money. It drops you at the park bus terminal, so you skip the monorail fare that Official Hotel guests pay each ride.

Good Neighbor Hotels in Tokyo and Makuhari
Good Neighbor Hotels are spread over four areas of Tokyo and Chiba: Shinjuku, Koto/Sumida, Daiba/Ariake and Chiba/Makuhari. The resort lists nine of them:
- Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo-Bay Ariake
- Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo
- Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel
- Hotel East21 Tokyo
- Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo
- Dai-ichi Hotel Ryogoku
- Hilton Tokyo Odaiba
- Keisei Hotel Miramare
- Hotel New Otani Makuhari
Each one offers a free direct shuttle bus to the bus terminals of both parks. Seats must be reserved. Most hotels take the booking at reception or the bell desk when you arrive, and some take it by phone. Book on the day you check in, because seats are limited.

The blue bus in the photo is a Good Neighbor Hotel shuttle. Staying in Tokyo makes sense if Disney is one day of a longer trip. The resort’s bus guide gives rough bus times to the parks. Tokyo Station takes about 30 to 40 minutes and Kinshicho about 35 to 45. Shinjuku takes about 50 to 60, and Ikebukuro about 55 to 65.
The train is often faster. The Tokyo Disney Resort access by train page puts Tokyo Station to JR Maihama Station at about 20 minutes with no transfer. Take the JR Keiyo Line or JR Musashino Line. Walking from other lines or the Shinkansen to the Keiyo Line platform at Tokyo Station takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Limited express trains such as the Wakashio do not stop at Maihama. Our guide to Tokyo Disneyland from Tokyo covers the routes in detail.
The list has two Hiltons, and they are easy to mix up. Hilton Tokyo Bay is an Official Hotel inside the resort. Hilton Tokyo Odaiba is a Good Neighbor Hotel in Tokyo, with a reserved-seat bus. If you take a taxi, show the driver the Japanese name: ヒルトン東京ベイ (Hiruton Tokyo Bei, Hilton Tokyo Bay). The Tokyo Disney Resort affiliated hotels page (Japanese) lists the Japanese name of every hotel.

Hilton Tokyo Bay or a Disney hotel: what you get
Official Hotels and Disney hotels share one key perk: park tickets at the hotel. The difference is the condition. Official Hotel guests must contact the hotel in advance. Disney hotel guests can buy tickets for their stay at the hotel even when the official website shows them as sold out.

The drawing splits the perks into two sides. On the left is what Hilton Tokyo Bay and the other Official Hotels give you. On the right is what only the Disney hotels give you. The Tokyo Disney Resort Disney Hotels page sets out the Disney hotel side.
Happy Entry is the main gap. It lets Disney hotel guests enter a park through a Special Entrance before other guests, and it is free. At Tokyo Disneyland, guests of all six Disney hotels get in 15 minutes early. At Tokyo DisneySea, only Fantasy Springs Hotel and MiraCosta guests get in, 5 to 15 minutes early. You can use it during your stay, including checkout day, but not on check-in day. You still need a 1-Day Passport for that park.
Happy Entry also has off dates. At Tokyo Disneyland, MiraCosta, Fantasy Chateau and Celebration Hotel guests cannot use it on three dates. As of September 24, 2026, those are October 31, 2026, November 10, 2026 and January 12, 2027. Attractions start only when the park opens to everyone else. Early entry gives you time to buy Disney Premier Access or get a Standby Pass.
Disney hotels are also harder to book. Reservations open at 11:00 a.m. four months before your stay, for up to five nights and three rooms at a time. Online bookings need a deposit of 30,000 yen per room per stay for luxury and deluxe types. Moderate and value types take 15,000 yen. Check-in is 3:00 p.m.
Prices are on another level too. In October 2026 the Fantasy Chateau building showed rates from 101,500 yen to 130,000 yen a room on the dates still open. That rate covers two adults, and up to two children aged 11 or under stay free.
Getting around is no easier at a Disney hotel. There is no shuttle bus from JR Maihama Station to the Disney hotels, and none of them includes a free monorail pass. An Official Hotel guest on the cruiser and monorail moves around much like a Disney hotel guest.

From Haneda and Narita to Hilton Tokyo Bay
The Airport Limousine bus is the simplest way in. It stops at Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea and the Disney and Official hotels in the area. From Haneda the fare is 1,300 yen for adults and 650 yen for children. From Narita it is 2,900 yen for adults and 1,450 yen for children. Our Airport Limousine bus page covers the other routes.
At Haneda, board at stop 5 in Terminal 3, stop 6 in Terminal 2 or stop 5 in Terminal 1. Our data counts 17 departures a day from Terminal 3, from 07:35 to 18:50. The timetable shows 40 minutes to Tokyo Disneyland: the first bus leaves at 7:35 and arrives at 8:15. The resort’s own guide allows about 55 to 60 minutes by bus. See our Haneda Airport to Tokyo Disney Resort page for every stop.

The flow chart traces that Haneda trip from the bus stop to Bayside Station. You leave the bus at your Official Hotel, check in, then take the free cruiser when you head out.
At Narita, board at stop 10 in Terminal 1, stop 17 in Terminal 2 or stop 9 in Terminal 3. Our data counts 22 departures a day from Terminal 1, from 08:00 to 18:40, and a timetable time of 56 minutes. The resort’s guide allows about 65 to 90 minutes. Our Narita Airport to Tokyo Disney Resort page has the full list.
To reserve a seat in advance, call the Airport Limousine Bus Reservation and Information Center on 03-3665-7220. Lines are open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The timetable shows dates up to two months ahead. No free shuttle runs from either airport to the Disney hotels.
By train, the resort gives about 50 minutes from Haneda to JR Maihama Station with two transfers. From Narita it gives about 80 minutes with one transfer. Those times do not include the time spent changing trains.

The drawing shows the four steps from the train to an Official Hotel. Leave JR Maihama Station by the South Exit. Official Hotel guests can send bags to their hotel from the Hotel Service Counter at the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center, next to the station. Then turn left from the South Exit to reach Resort Gateway Station. Ride the monorail to Bayside Station and take the free cruiser to your hotel.

Park tickets and dates for your hotel stay
Park tickets sell out on busy days, and prices change by date. Our Tokyo Disneyland ticket guide lists the adult 1-Day Passport price for each date on sale. Check it before you book a room.
Your hotel tier decides your backup plan. At Hilton Tokyo Bay or another Official Hotel, contact the hotel before your stay and you can buy tickets there. At a Partner or Good Neighbor Hotel, you need a package plan that includes a Park ticket or the right to buy one. At a Disney hotel, you can buy one 1-Day Passport per guest per day, good for one park only.
Look at Japan’s public holidays before you pick dates. Our November holidays page lists the national holidays that month. The New Year 2026–27 page covers the year-end break, when many people in Japan are off work.
Driving is possible but not encouraged. The Tokyo Disney Resort getting here page asks guests to use public transportation because of heavy traffic around the resort. Parking costs 4,000 yen for a passenger car under 5 meters, paid when you enter. The Tokyo Disney Resort access by car page lists the expressway exits: Kasai from Tokyo, Urayasu from Chiba.
The train ends at JR Maihama Station on the JR Keiyo Line or Musashino Line.

The photo shows JR Maihama Station, the rail gateway to the resort. Tokyo Disneyland is about a five-minute walk away. For Tokyo DisneySea, walk about 2 minutes to Resort Gateway Station, ride about 9 minutes, then walk about 1 minute.

What people in Japan say about hotels near the parks
In October 2026 we ran an online survey of people living in Japan who have been to Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. 123 people answered; after removing answers that clearly contradicted themselves, 100 remained. The numbers below are shares of those respondents, not of all visitors. See the full survey results and how we asked.
49 of our 100 respondents have stayed at an Official Hotel; the ones they named most were Hilton Tokyo Bay (23.0%), Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel (16.0%) and Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort (13.0%). Asked where a foreign tourist should stay, 15.0% (15 of 100) said an Official Hotel on the Disney Resort Line, 6.0% (6 of 100) a hotel near Shin-Urayasu or Maihama and 7.0% (7 of 100) a hotel in central Tokyo.
“Partner hotels are reasonably priced and a free shuttle bus takes you to the parks, so I like staying at them.”
— Woman in her 30s, Kinki (Osaka and Kyoto area). Original Japanese (excerpt): 「パートナーホテルが値段はリーズナブルで、パークまでは無料のシャトルバスで送ってくれるので好んで泊まります。」
