Keisei Skyliner: fares, discount tickets, stops and how to buy

The Skyliner is Keisei Electric Railway's airport express between Narita Airport and Nippori and Keisei Ueno. Keisei gives 36 minutes to Nippori at the fastest. The standard price is 2,580 yen one way, and 2,310 yen when you buy the discount ticket online or through a travel agency.

Skyliner fares

The price is the basic fare plus the Skyliner ticket.

With an IC card
The basic fare is 1,267 yen instead of 1,280 yen. The Skyliner ticket is still needed.
Without a Skyliner ticket
Boarding without one adds 300 yen for adults and 150 yen for children to the Skyliner charge.
Round-trip exchange
A round-trip discount ticket can be exchanged only at the two Narita Airport stations, not at Ueno or Nippori.

How to buy a Skyliner ticket

  • All seats are reserved. Tickets go on sale one month before the day of travel.
  • At the airport: the Skyliner ticket counters at Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station and Terminal 2·3 Station, the Skyliner and Keisei Information Center, and the Keisei counter on the first floor of Terminals 1 and 2.
  • In Tokyo: Nippori, Keisei Ueno, Aoto and Shin-Kamagaya stations.
  • Online: the Skyliner e-ticket, which is where the discount price applies.
  • Major credit cards are accepted at the ticket counters and the Skyliner ticket machines.

Keisei's cheaper trains from the airport

Access Express
Runs through to Nihombashi, Shimbashi and Shinagawa without a change. No limited express fare.
Keisei Main Line
Rapid limited express trains by way of Funabashi. No limited express fare.
