Sapporo One-Day Ticket for Subway Use: price and coverage

Price

Unlimited subway rides for the whole day.

Children are elementary school pupils; junior high school students and older pay the adult price.

What the pass covers

• Unlimited rides on the Sapporo city subway.

Not covered

• Streetcars are not covered; they have their own one-day ticket.
• With the Donichika Ticket, no transfer discount applies to streetcars or buses.

Where to buy it

• The One-Day Ticket is sold at subway ticket machines (not on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and over the New Year) and at commuter pass offices.
• The Donichika Ticket is sold at subway ticket machines, station offices and commuter pass offices.
• Cash only; IC card balances, SAPICA points and credit cards cannot be used.

Refunds

Only unused Donichika Tickets can be refunded.

Good to know

• The Donichika Ticket can be used on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and the year-end and New Year holidays.
• If you ride by tapping a credit card, the fares for one day stop at 830 yen on weekdays and 520 yen on Donichika days.
• Suica, ICOCA and other major IC cards can be used on the subway and streetcars.
