After a shrine ritual, two boys chosen by the community, in hakama, take up a bow and shoot at a target with the character for 'demon' written upside down, to drive away evil spirits and misfortune. A festival at the hall that enshrines the Tsuru-no-ko Kannon, said to bring children and safe childbirth. Visitors take one egg and, if a child is born, return two eggs as thanks. Free.
