7-Eleven Japan Money Exchange Machine: Notes Only

WhereSome stores

Some 7-Eleven stores have a self-service money exchange machine that changes foreign notes into yen.

Coins are not taken, and each exchange must be below 100,000 yen. At the till only Japanese yen is accepted in cash, so a card or a Seven Bank ATM is the other way to get yen (checked 17 October 2026).
