| Sakurayama Wind Bell Festival桜山風鈴まつり | Mid-July to late August (18 July to 29 August in 2026) | Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, Sakura-machi, Takayama. About 2,000 wind bells and a hand-washing basin with floating flowers decorate the shrine. The ema-den hall hung with wind bells is lit up on four Saturdays, and a festival-stall day with food trucks and live gagaku music is held on 15 August.
