Kanazawa Castle Park (Ishikawa Gate, Gyokusenin-maru Garden, Kahoku Gate, Hishi-yagura, Nezumita Gate and others) and Kenroku-en are lit up. At Kenroku-en the Kotoji lantern, the Karasaki pine and the fountain are lit, and from November about 800 trees have yukitsuri snow ropes. Concerts are held in the garden during the period. Held only on 19 to 22 September and on 7, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 November 2026; not held on the days in between. Entry is free during the light-up hours (daytime entry is paid): 19:00 to 21:00 in September and 18:00 to 21:00 in November, last entry 20:45.
