Where to buy a Suica card in Japan

JR East resumed selling unregistered (non-named) Suica cards on 1 March 2025, after sales had been halted. Inside the Suica area, My Suica (registered) and Suica cards are sold at JR East multifunction machines, Midori-no-madoguchi ticket offices and operator-assisted reserved-seat machines, and at Shinkansen-station ticket offices. Stations with only partial Suica support do not sell them. Welcome Suica is sold at JR EAST Travel Service Centers at Narita Airport Terminal 1, Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 and Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (Tokyo Monorail) stations, and at Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ueno, Yokohama and Sendai stations.

The long-term Welcome Suica is valid for up to 6 months from the date of issue, but it is available only for bulk purchase and is not sold at JR EAST Travel Service Centers.
Welcome Suica is sold at JR EAST Travel Service Centers at Narita Airport Terminal 1, Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 and Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (Tokyo Monorail) stations, and at Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ueno, Yokohama and Sendai stations.

Welcome Suica ticket vending machines are at Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station, Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 Station and Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (Tokyo Monorail) Station.
Welcome Suica is also sold at JAPAN RAIL CAFÉ at Tokyo Station and at the TAKANAWA GATEWAY Travel Service Center at Takanawa Gateway Station.
Narita Airport Terminal 1
The JR EAST Travel Service Center at Narita Airport Terminal 1 is open from 8:30 to 19:00 all year round.
Narita Airport Terminal 2・3
The JR EAST Travel Service Center at Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 is open from 8:30 to 20:00 all year round.
Haneda Airport Terminal 3
The JR EAST Travel Service Center at Haneda is open from 6:45 to 20:00 all year round, next to the ticket gate on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station.

Narita Airport

Terminal 1 Station
At Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station (Keisei), TOURIST PASMO costs 2,000 yen and is sold at the SKYLINER & KEISEI INFORMATION CENTER.
Terminal 2 Station (Terminal 2・3)
At Narita Airport Terminal 2 Station (Keisei), TOURIST PASMO costs 2,000 yen and is sold at the SKYLINER & KEISEI INFORMATION CENTER.
Terminal 1 Station
The SKYLINER & KEISEI INFORMATION CENTER at Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station is open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and serves customers in English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
Terminal 2・3 Station
The SKYLINER & KEISEI INFORMATION CENTER at Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 Station is open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and serves customers in English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
Terminal 1 Station and Terminal 2・3 Station
Keisei's Skyliner FAQ says a PASMO card can be purchased from the ticket machines at both Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station and Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 Station.
Terminal 1 Station and Terminal 2・3 Station
At these ticket machines you press PASMO on the left of the screen and then PASMO in the center, choose whether to put your name on the card, choose the amount, and insert coins or bills.
Terminal 1 Station
JR East sells Welcome Suica at the JR EAST Travel Service Center and at Welcome Suica ticket vending machines at Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station (and at Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 Station).

JR East sells Welcome Suica at the JR EAST Travel Service Center and at Welcome Suica ticket vending machines at Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 Station (and at Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station).
Terminal 1 Station
The JR EAST Travel Service Center at Narita Airport Terminal 1 is open from 8:30 to 19:00 all year round. By train, leave through the JR Line and Keisei Line ticket gates (B1F) and it is directly at the end.
Terminal 2・3 Station
The JR EAST Travel Service Center at Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 is open from 8:30 to 20:00 all year round. By train, leave through the JR Line gates (B1F) and it is directly at the end.
Terminal 1 and Terminal 2・3 (B1F)
Narita Airport's Train Tickets page lists four counters before security: JR EAST Travel Service Centers and SKYLINER & KEISEI INFORMATION CENTERS in the T1 Central Building (B1F) and the T2 Main Building (B1F). Tickets are also sold in front of each line's ticket gates (B1F).

Haneda Airport

Terminal 1・2 Station (Keikyu)
At Haneda Airport Terminal 1・2 Station (Keikyu), TOURIST PASMO is sold at the ticket machines for travelers, one at the Terminal 1 gate and one at the Terminal 2 gate, for 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 or 10,000 yen. Credit cards are accepted.
Terminal 3 Station (Keikyu)
At Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station (Keikyu), TOURIST PASMO is sold at the Keikyu Tourist Information Center on the 2nd floor Arrival Lobby next to the ticket gates, and at one ticket machine for travelers next to the center. Credit cards are accepted.
Terminal 3 Station (Keikyu)
The Keikyu Tourist Information Center at Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station is on the 2nd-floor arrival lobby level next to the ticket gates and is open from 8:00 to 22:00 every day of the year. Its services include selling tickets to international visitors.
Terminal 3 (Tokyo Monorail) Station
JR East sells Welcome Suica at the JR EAST Travel Service Center at Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (Tokyo Monorail) Station.

JR East has Welcome Suica ticket vending machines at Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (Tokyo Monorail) Station.
