What the pass covers

  • Metro and private railways across Kansai.
  • Eizan Railway, Hankai Tramway and Mizuma Railway, by showing the ticket screen to staff.
  • You can also travel to Nara, Wakayama and Koyasan.

Not covered

  • JR, the Kyoto City Subway, the Keihan Keishin and Ishiyama-Sakamoto lines, Randen and buses are not covered.
  • Reserved-seat limited express trains on Kintetsu, Nankai, Keihan and Hankyu need extra fees.
  • Some Kintetsu sections are excluded: part of the Yoshino Line, the Osaka Line east of Aoyamacho and the Nishi-Shigi Cable Line.

Fares are one adult, reserved seat where trains have them, from the City to City pages (searched for 14 October 2026). A round trip is twice the one-way fare. The share compares the round trip with 5,200 yen for 2 days, on the official website.

  • Osaka to Koyasan by Koya + cable car: Covers the Nankai line from Namba and the Koyasan Cable Car to Koyasan; the Limited Express Koya reserved-seat fee is extra.

Seats and using the pass

  • A day runs from 3:00 a.m. to 2:59 a.m., so press Start Using after 3:00 a.m. on the day of use.
  • Scan the QR code at QR-code ticket gates, one person at a time.
  • On Eizan Railway, Hankai Tramway and Mizuma Railway, show the screen to the train staff when you get off.

Refunds

No refunds once the ticket has been used, or after you start using it even if a line stops or a facility closes.

Good to know

  • Special offers at partner facilities are valid only on the day you use the pass.
  • It must be used within three months of purchase and started by March 31, 2027.
  • Screenshots or printouts of the QR code cannot be used.
