Valid for 2 days from the day you choose.

What the pass covers

• A round-trip train ticket between the station where the ticket was issued and Koyasan Station.
• Two days of rides on Nankai Rinkan Bus in Koyasan, except the Tateri, Koya Ryujin and Koya Niutsuhime lines.
• The versions with a limited express ticket cover the Limited Express Koya on the outward trip only.

Not covered

• With a train-only ticket, buy a limited express ticket separately to ride a limited express.
• If you get off at a station on the way, the rest of that train trip is no longer valid.

Does the Koyasan World Heritage Digital Ticket pay off?

Fares are one adult, reserved seat where trains have them, from the City to City pages (searched for 14 October 2026). A round trip is twice the one-way fare. The share compares the round trip with 3,980 yen for From Namba, digital ticket, train only, on the official website.

Where to buy it

• The digital ticket is bought online and shown on your smartphone at the gate.
• You need a smartphone and a credit card to buy and use the digital ticket.
• Sold all year, from one month before the travel day.
• The paper ticket is sold at Nankai stations such as Namba, Shin-Imamiya, Tengachaya and Kansai Airport.

Seats and using the pass

Seats

With the limited express version, choose your seat in the ticket wallet; you can change trains up to two times, until five minutes before departure.

• Trains: use a gate made for Nankai digital tickets; stations or exits without one cannot be used.
• Buses: press Use Ticket on the bus ticket when you get off and show it to the driver.
• With the limited express version, you must reserve your seat before you can use the train ticket.

Refunds

The digital ticket can be refunded by yourself in the system with no fee if it is unused, up to five minutes before the reserved limited express leaves; no refunds after you start using it.

Good to know

• Includes discount coupons for Kondo Hall, Konpon Daito Pagoda and the Reihokan Museum.
• Child tickets cannot be bought on their own.
• The paper ticket can be refunded where you bought it if every part is unused, for a fee of 520 yen.
