JAPAN eVISA: who can apply online and how it works
JAPAN eVISA is the Japanese foreign ministry's online visa. It covers one case: a single-entry short-term visa for tourism, up to 90 days. Whether you can use it depends on where you live, not on your passport. As of 15 May 2026 it is open to people living in 20 countries and regions: 9 apply online themselves and 11 go through an accredited agency.
