持香港护照去日本需要签证吗？

工作、留学或长期停留

免签入境只限短期停留。

有报酬的工作不属于短期停留。要领薪工作，或停留超过90天，就需要签证。日本外务省说明，原则上要先向日本出入国在留管理厅取得在留资格认定证明书。

打工度假签证

日本自2010年起与香港实施打工度假制度。每年核发签证数：1,500。对象是以度假为主要目的的年轻人，可以打工补贴旅费。

数字游民

香港在日本出入国在留管理厅的数字游民对象国家和地区一览表上：可在日本远程工作，最长6个月，不能延长。

在日本的机场

所有外国旅客的步骤都一样。

抵达后填写外国人入境记录（用Visit Japan Web在线填写，或用纸质），并提供指纹和面部照片。能不能上陆由入境审查官决定。

JESTA（日本的电子旅行授权）

目前还不需要。JESTA是日本正在为免签旅客建立的电子旅行授权。日本出入国在留管理厅只公布开始日期为「2029年3月31日以前，由政令规定的日期」。

持其他国家护照住在香港的人

签证申请不只看国籍，也看你住在哪里。

可以向自己国家，或目前居住国家的日本大使馆或总领事馆申请。在只是旅行经过的第三国不能申请。

住在香港、需要签证的人，JAPAN eVISA要通过认可的代办旅行社申请。这是观光用的单次签证，最长停留90天。
