- JR東日本の一覧では、柏・川崎・立川・大宮・船橋・福島・新潟の各駅のJR東日本訪日旅行センターで、Welcome Suicaの販売が一時止まっています。
- 長期用：まとめ買いだけ
- 長期用のWelcome Suicaは発行日から最長6か月使えますが、まとめ買いだけで、JR東日本訪日旅行センターでは売っていません。

- 成田空港第1ターミナルのJR東日本訪日旅行センターは、毎日8:30〜19:00に開いています。
- 成田空港第2・第3ターミナル
- 成田空港第2・第3ターミナルのJR東日本訪日旅行センターは、毎日8:30〜20:00に開いています。
- 羽田空港第3ターミナル

- Welcome Suicaは、首都圏の電車・地下鉄・バス、羽田空港と東京の間の東京モノレール、仙台・新潟・青森・盛岡・秋田のエリア、北海道・東海・西日本・九州のエリアの一部で使えます。
- ほかの地域
- Welcome Suicaは、全国で相互利用のマークかSuica・Kitaca・PASMO・manaca・TOICA・ICOCA・はやかけん・nimoca・SUGOCAのマークがある電車・バス・お店・自動販売機で使えます。ただしPiTaPaエリアのお店では使えません。
- 気をつけること
- Welcome Suicaはエリアをまたいで続けて乗ることはできず、あるエリアで乗ったらそのエリアの中で降ります。ほかのエリアへ行くときは、いったん改札を出てから入り直します。

- Welcome Suicaで特急・急行やグリーン車に乗るときは、そのきっぷを先に買います。

払い戻し・有効期限・なくしたとき
- 払い戻し
- Welcome Suicaは、使える期間やカードの残高に関係なく、払い戻しできません。
- 払い戻し
- カードそのものが壊れたときは、JR東日本がSuicaエリアのみどりの窓口で残高を払い戻します。申し出の翌日から、使える期間が終わって14日後までです。壊れたカードと証明書を持っていきます。
- 有効期限
- 使える期間は買った日を含めて28日です。カードの裏のGOOD THRUの日付は有効期限ではありません。
- 記名式
- JR東日本の比べる表では、Welcome Suica MobileもWelcome Suicaのカードも無記名として載っています。
- なくしたとき
- なくしたWelcome Suicaは再発行できません。

- こども用のWelcome Suicaは、こどもが12歳の誕生日を迎えたあとの3月31日まで使えます。買うときはパスポートなどこども本人の身分証が要り、家族が代わりに買えます。
